CC stores all photos and original files uploaded to the cloud server, while Lightroom Classic CC stores file locally and have a richer feature set. Although they are similar in some respects, the three Lightroom styles have significant differences in how they store images and interact with Adobe cloud storage, as well as functional parity. The existing version of Lightroom has been renamed to Lightroom Classic CC, and Lightroom Mobile has been renamed to Lightroom CC to have the same name as this new desktop version. Adobe has released a new version of Lightroom called Lightroom CC to be more compatible with their mobile software. Initially, Adobe Lightroom was only available for desktop operating systems however, with the launch of Lightroom Mobile in 2017, it was expanded to support mobile operating systems. Currently, it supports TIFF, JPEG, PSD (Photoshop), PNG, CMYK (editable in RGB color space), and free image formats. Lightroom can save and organize photos after importing them into the platform database. Although Photoshop includes correction functions such as adding, deleting, or changing the appearance of individual image elements, rendering text or 3D objects in an image, or changing individual video frames, Lightroom is a library and authoring software. Unlike Photoshop, Lightroom is a non-destructive editing program that can separate the original image from any changes made in the program and save the edited image as a new file.
